AQS Data Manager was a web-based application developed to streamline the import, review, and evaluation of laboratory and process data. Designed for environmental and compliance-focused projects, Data Manager provided a centralized platform for managing electronic data deliverables (EDDs) and supporting data usability decisions.
The application allowed users to import laboratory and field data in a variety of formats, automatically organize results, and evaluate data against project-specific, method-based, and statistical criteria. Built-in tools supported outlier identification, trend visualization, and flexible data export for reporting and further analysis.
At the time of its release, Data Manager helped teams move away from fragmented spreadsheets and manual data checks by providing a consistent, web-accessible workflow. Users could access their data anytime from desktop or mobile devices, improving collaboration and efficiency across project teams.
A Foundation for Today’s Solutions
While Data Manager is no longer actively used or supported, it played an important role in the evolution of AQS software. Many of the core concepts—centralized data management, workflow-driven review, and defensible decision-making—have been expanded and refined in our current platforms:
QA Manager – Laboratory quality management and audit readiness
AB Manager – Accreditation management for environmental programs
These modern systems build on the lessons learned from Data Manager, offering more integrated, scalable, and purpose-built solutions for today’s laboratory and accreditation needs.
